Pete was a wonderful guy. He and buddy Bob Lute shared many racing experiences. He was always smiling and a joy to be near. He often walked over to the grandstand area for a brief chat during races at Little Valley. He and my brother (Gary) shared special times and racing memories. My wife (Mary) and I will miss his visits with us at Stateline Speedway where we had a chance to discuss racing history. Pete and my Dad (Ron), Bob Lute, and Jim McKenry spent many hours and many laughs promoting auto racing in the Olean area.
