I'll always remember Joey as I knew him back when we were growing up in North Tonawanda. He and my brother were friends, we all swam together in our backyard pool. I will never forget when everybody was doing cannon balls in the pool; when it came to Joey's turn to jump, the side of the pool came apart, and all of the water gushed out. It was pretty scary and funny at the same time. Joey was a nice guy all the time, and my thoughts of him are always of good times. Oh, how could I forget when he, my brother & cousin decided to set fire to a field car, bringing the fire department over, and the parents thinking the boys were in the car as it was burning? Again, scary & funny. RIP Joey.
