As Vicki's friend for many years I had multiple opportunities to experience her humor, compassion and loyalty to her friends, her family and her congregation. Her long illness created many times of distress, discomfort and worry for her. I will miss her greatly but I would also need to say that I am grateful to God for the life she gave and His mercy in having her die peacefully. She loved all of you, her family and also shared with me the happiness you all gave her. She was a true follower of St. Francis in all his humility, hospitality and love of others. I am sorry and am not able to physically attend her services but I am attending another funeral in Pennsylvania. I will be with all of you in spirit and pray that God will provide comfort for all of you. Peace and prayers Joan
