Olean - Romayne E. Muir, Jr.     "Loving Father & Grandfather"

 

            Romayne E. Muir, Jr. 62 of 311 East State Street passed away Wed. February 13, 2019 in the Olean General Hospital.

 

            Romayne was born n July 1, 1956 in Olean and was a son of Romayne Eldridge and Geraldine C. Seaward Muir.  He was formerly married to Kathy Barth.

 

            Romayne was a 1974 graduate of Olean High School.  He worked for Collins Memorial in Allegany for many years before going to work for Driveshaft Specialists for over 20 years until 2010.  Romayne enjoyed being at home and working on cars, people watching, hunting, and fishing.

 

            Romayne is survived by; 2 daughters, Jennifer J. Perry of Virginia and Melissa A. Muir of Olean; 5 grandchildren, Roman, Lillian, Desiree, Arianna, & Chanse; 1 nephew, Earl Muir; and 1 niece, Ruth Muir.

 

            Romayne was predeceased by, 2 brothers, William "Will" and Earl Muir.

 

            Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. 646 East State Street, Olean Wed. Feb. 20, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 p.m. at which time a memorial service will be held.  The Rev. Robert Howard, will officiate.
