Jeffrey D. Cummins of 8731 Stout Road, passed away shortly after arrival at the Olean General Hospital.
Jeff was born on Feb. 15, 1958 in Cuba and was the son of Arthur J. and Amelia M. Nordin Cummins. On May 21, 1994 in Friendship, he married his wife of 21 years, Kathleen Blake, who survives.
Jeff was a life-long resident of the Cuba area, having graduated from Friendship High School in 1977 and worked at ACME for 21 years before going to work at Precision Fabrication and Controls for more than 15 years. Jeff enjoyed being outdoors, hunting & fishing, four-wheeling and playing horseshoes on a league at the VFW. He enjoyed spending time with his daughters and especially his grandchildren.
Along with his loving wife, Jeff is survived by three daughters, Christial L. (William) Torrey of Portville, Kimberly A. Cummins of Cuba, and Nichol M. (Adam Depp) Cummins of Cuba; six grandchildren, Parker, Cason & Juelle Torrey, Stanley Gilchrist, Keyonah Cummins, and Maddison Depp; and three siblings, Sandra (Terry White) Cummins of LeRoy, Robert (Cathy) Cummins of Friendship, and Mark Cummins of Oregon.
Jeffrey was predeceased by his parents; and one brother, Leon E. Cummins on Feb. 27, 2007.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Genesee Pkwy, Cuba, on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 11:00 am to 12 o'clock noon at which time a Memorial Service will be held.
