Phillip (Phil) E. Clark, of 1003 1/2 West State Street, passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, shortly after arrival at the Olean General Hospital. Phillip was born Nov. 2, 1959 in Buffalo and was a son of Francis Eugene and Wilodean A. Sager Clark. He graduated from Hamburg High School in 1974. Phillip worked as a contractor for a number of places, including Twin Tiers for a number of years. He also worked as a cook, welder, and a brick layer and a number of other jobs throughout his career. Phillip enjoyed being outdoors including hunting, fishing, trapping, and snowmobiling. Phillip is survived by a daughter, Whitney D. (Nick) Phearsdorf; several brothers and sisters; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Beside his parents he was also predeceased by a brother. A graveside service will be held at a date and time to be announced in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Friendship.
