Obituary of Alvera J. Stuckey

Alvera J. Stuckey of McAllen Texas, formerly of Farmers Valley, PA, passed away Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 at home following an apparent heart attack. Alvera was born on August 7, 1950 and is a daughter of Ray M. Fink and Cleda L. (Hovey) Dudley. Alvera was formerly married to, Jon I. McFall. Alvera is a graduate of Port Allegany High School Class of 1968. She attended BOCES in Olean and received a Nursing Certificate in the 1990's. Alvera worked for a Home Health Care Agency for a number of years in the 1980's and 1990's. She moved to McAllen, TX in 2007. Alvera enjoyed sewing, knitting, crafts, and especially her grandchildren. Alvera is survived by her mother, Cleda L. Dudley of Port Allegany; three daughters, Debra Rae McFall, Pamela A. McFall, and Terri K. McFall all of Olean; four grandchildren, Jake T. Weitzel, Amanda L. Mattys, Nicole R. Mattys, and Willow J. Chase; one great grandchild, Zackery C. Johnson; one sister, Leona (Dwain) Ostrum of Emporium, PA; two brothers, Ed (Sheryl) Fink of McAllen, TX, and Lloyd (Barb) Fink of Port Allegany, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Alvera was pre-deceased by her father, Ray M. Fink, in Oct. of 1969. Friends will be received Monday, January 23, 2012, at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, 646 East State Street, from 3 pm to 5 pm with funeral to follow. The Rev. Gerald C. Piper, Pastor of the Knapp Creek United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at the Fair View Cemetery in Port Allegany, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Genesis House, 107 South Barry Street, Olean, New York 14760.
