Myrna L. Spencer of 15 Kipp Street, Jamestown, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012, peacefully at home. Born Jan. 11, 1934 in Gowanda, Myrna was the daughter of the late George & Ada Mae Baker Brittain. She attended school in Wellsboro, PA, where she met and married her husband of 51 years, Harold James Spencer, Sr., who survives. Myrna enjoyed baking and being a wonderful mother to their 8 children. She also enjoyed movies, animals, shopping, fishing, and watching The Buffalo Bills. She treasured time spent with her family. Myrna is also survived by Harold James (Sue) Spencer, Jr. of Arden, NC, Clifton Frances (Sharon) Spencer of Cuba, Westley Thomas (Linda) Spencer of Olean, Steve Lewis Spencer of Winston-Salem, NC, David No-el (Teri) Spencer of Ischua, Georgia Lea (Steve) Hellwig of Westons Mills, Joseph Andrew Spencer of Jamestown; 13 Grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. Myrna was predeceased by a son, William Barkley "Bill" Spencer and a granddaughter. Private Funeral Services were held today, June 15, 2012 at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean. The Rev. Jason officiated. Burial will be in the Wellsboro Cemetery, Wellsboro, PA. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E.
