Obituary of Peter J. O'Hara

Peter J. O'Hara of 6037 Rt. 5 Lot 14, formerly of 120 South Clinton Street, Olean, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008 from injuries sustained in a pedestrian/truck accident. Mr. O'Hara was born on November 11, 1966 in Olean and was the son of Eugene W. and Gloria Marie Messer, O'Hara. Mr. O'Hara graduated from Olean High School class of 1985. He worked for the Rehabilitation Center in Olean, Professional Answering Service, Century Manor and Mian Raffi Rest. He moved to Jamestown & and then Brockton, NY. For the past four years he has been working for DDSO as a developmental aid. Mr. O'Hara enjoyed Scuba diving, fishing, boating & camping he also enjoyed socializing and music, most of all he loved his German Shepherd Taz. Surviving Mr. O'Hara are a brother, Damon E. O'Hara of Olean; a son, Brandon Chafin; a half brother, Eugene W. O'Hara III of NY, NY.; a half sister, Debbie Ann Tracy of Brooklyn, NY.; two step brothers, Ben Mandaro of Boston, Mass. and Pat Palmasano of Revenna, Ohio; a step sister, Adrian Mandaro of NY, NY.; an aunt, JoAnn O'Hara of Brooklyn, NY; a god daughter, Brenda Hicks of Jamestown; and several nieces & nephews. Mr. O'Hara was pre-deceased by both his patents; and a sister, Beth Ann O'Hara on July 2, 1994. Friends may attend a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008 in the St. Mary of the Angels Church from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at which time a Memorial Mass will be held. The Rev. Gregory J. Dobson, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. View Cemetery, Olean, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean.
