Rosemary Ann Adams of 1007 West State Street, Olean, NY passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012. Rose was born on December 13, 1932 in Port Jervis, NY and was a daughter of Henry L. and Julia Sorg Brehm, Sr. She worked at Olean Tile and then Ka-Bar Knife Co. before going to work at Angee's Restaurant as a cook for many years before retiring. Rose enjoyed cooking, bingo and crocheting. She loved to dance and as her sister Arlene says "We used to go all over, any place there was dancing" including the West Line Inn, Cuba Lake Pavilion and the River View in Allegany. Rose also loved riding motorcycle and was a member of the Olean Motorcycle Club. Later the clubhouse became the family's camp on the Allegany River. Rose treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and made the best cheese cake with her granddaughter Morgan. Rose truly loved her family and enjoyed every moment she spent with them. She was also a 58 year member of the Portville American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving Rose are a daughter, Linda C. (Thomas Hall ) Adams of Olean; two sons, Lee C. (Debbie) Adams of Olean, and Dean J. (Sue Ann) Adams of Jamestown; two special grandchildren, Morgan Leigh Adams of Phoenix, and James Dean Adams of Jamestown; two beautiful great grandchildren, Hayleigh & Skyler; three sisters, Arlene Wyatt of Scottsdale, Az, Loraine Brehm of New Port Richey, FL, and Mildred (Bruce) Bowers of Ridgeway, Pa.; a niece and three nephews. Rose was pre-deceased by an infant son who was a twin to Dean, Dale John Adams; a sister, Emily Shafer; and four brothers, William, James, Edward and Henry Brehm, Jr. Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean on Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at which time a Memorial Service will be held. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
