Obituary of Blaine W. Whitehead

Blaine W. Whitehead of 367 Allgood Bridge Road, formerly of Olean went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010 at the St. Francis Hospital in Pickens.
Mr. Whitehead was born on June 22, 1950 in Olean and was the son of Casser W. and Beatrice Andress Whitehead. On August 25, 1969, he married Dianne Cronk, who survives.
Mr. Whitehead was employed as a truck driver for many years before becoming a self-employed contractor. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and he enjoyed spending time with his grandson Brandon.
In addition to his wife of 41 years, Mr. Whitehead is survived by a daughter, Carol A. (Jim) Lance of Pickens, SC; three brothers, Ronald Whitehead, Casser (Trene) Whitehead, and Allen (Cindy) Whitehead all of Olean; a grandson, Brandon Lance of Pickens, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Whitehead is preleased by his parents, Casser W. and Beatrice Whitehead; a son, Kevin Lee Whitehead in 1990; and a brother, Briand Dale Whitehead in 1972.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010 at 5:00 PM in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean. The Rev. John A. Lounsbury will officiate.
