Brett A. Redding of 758 Lippert Hollow Road passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010 at home. Brett was born on May 8, 1981 in Olean and was a son of Gary E. and Karen F. Tomes Redding. He was a 1999 graduate of Hinsdale High School and a 2003 Graduate of Ithaca College with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. After his college graduation, Brett had the opportunity to take a trip to Australia, where he traveled throughout the country for four months. He worked for Dresser Rand for the past three years in the shipping department and also painted the equipment. Brett enjoyed ridding his motor cycle but most of all he loved his daughter very much and enjoyed being with her. Surviving Brett besides his parents, Gary & Karen Redding of Hinsdale are his 2 � year old daughter, Isabelle E. Redding at home; a brother, Ryan M. Redding of Stewartstown, Pa; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Tomes of Olean; a niece, Kylie Redding; a nephew, Tyler Redding; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Brett was pre-deceased by his paternal grandparents, Ruth and Charles Redding; and his maternal grandfather, Joseph Tomes. Private Funeral Services where held today in the in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean. The Rev. William McNeil officiated. Burial was in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean, New York. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Isabella E. Redding Benefit Account and mailed to the Community Bank 201 North Union Street, Olean, New York 14760.
