Obituary of Anna Jean Peck

Anna Jean Peck of the Absolut at Allegany, formerly of the Birch Run Road and Emerald Hills, passed away Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010 in the Olean General Hospital. Mrs. Peck was born on Sept. 2, 1934 in Olean and was the daughter of Ralph V. and Nellie Pierce Fahy, Sr. On Sept. 6, 1950 in Olean, she married her husband for 46 years William H. "Bill" Peck, Sr., who predeceased her on Aug. 8, 1996. Mrs. Peck worked for Family Bargain Center for a period of time and then later went to work at McNamara's Garden and Swim Center in Allegany where she worked for 25 years retiring in 1992. She enjoyed bingo going to the casino and playing cards but most of all she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and especially her grand and great grandchildren. Mrs. Peck is survived by two sons, Robert E. (Christine) Peck of Olean, and Randy L. (Marlyce) Peck of Loveland, CO; a daughter, Debra D. (Michael) Brol of Ijamsville, MD; a daughter-in-Law, Rhonda Peck of Gloucester, Va; five grandchildren, Robert E. Peck, Jr., Jeremy Peck, Brandi S. Peck, Christopher M. Brol & Caitlin D. Brol; four great grandchildren; a brother, Michael E. Fahy of Olean; and many many nieces & nephews, and great nieces & nephews. Mrs. Peck was pre-deceased by a son, William H. Peck, Jr.; and two brothers, Robert "Bob" and Ralph "Bud" Fahy. Friends will be received on Wednesday Dec. 15, 2010 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00pm to 9:00 pm in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean, where Funeral and Committal Services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010 at 11:00 am. The Pastor Ricky L. Price, Pastor of the Church of Christ in Bradford, will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. View Cemetery, Olean. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Allegany Fire Department Ambulance Fund, Allegany, New York 14760.
