Obituary of Ruth A. Neff

Ruth A. Neff formerly of 619 Hoop Street passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010 in The Pines Health and Rehabilitation Center in Olean. Mrs. Neff was born June 17, 1934 in Middletown, IN and was the daughter of Beverly and Harriet Cole Neff. Ruth was a graduate of Olean High School and St. Bonaventure University with a degree in Accounting. She was employed at the Dow Chemical Company in Mobile, AL until her retirement. Ruth enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her loving family. In her later years, she enjoyed the special friendship of her "extended family" at the Pines Healthcare Center in Olean. Ruth truly loved watching and following the Buffalo Sabres. Surviving Mrs. Neff are a sister-in-law, Mary Neff of Olean; four nephews, Tom (Deena) Neff of Andover, Charles Neff of Niwerville, NY, Karl Neff of Olean, and Kurt Neff of Tampa, FL; and three nieces, Sandy (Raphael) Smith of Allegany, Karen Neff of Olean, and Diana (Dan) Picciol of Allegany. Mrs. Neff was pre-deceased by two brothers, B. Stanley and Harry C. Neff. Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home #646 E. State St. on Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at which time Funeral Service will be held. The Rev. Robert A. Goode will officiate. Burial will be in the Allegany Cemetery, Allegany.
