Obituary of Barbara Pauline Kisel

Barbara Pauline Kisel of 8993 Barber Road passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010 at home following a courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Kisel was born on Nov. 3, 1932 in Genesee, PA and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Eva Thomas White. On May 2, 1952, in Mesa, AZ, she married Leonard J. Kisel, who survives.
Mrs. Kisel was a 1951 graduate of Bolivar High School. She then worked full for the phone company first in Bolivar then, Buffalo and Olean where she retired from in 1995 after 27 years.
Mrs. Kisel and her husband enjoyed retirement, traveling in their camper around the country and especially wintering in Fl. for 15 winters. Mrs. Kisel also enjoyed going to the casino, music and dancing, playing cards, and loved cooking and baking. But most of all she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her sons, grandchildren and great grandson.
In addition to her husband of 58 years, Mrs. Kisel is survived by two sons, Stephen Kisel of Hamburg, and Robert (Mercy) Kisel of W. Clarksville; two granddaughters, Suzanne Price, and Starlyn Kisel; a grandson, Benjamin Kisel; a great-grandson, Dylon Price; a brother, Charles (Jane) White of Wellsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kisel is predeceased by a brother, Lawrence White.
At her request, there will be no visitation or services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Home Care & Hospice 118 North Main Street, Wellsville, NY 14895.
