Obituary of Hazel E. Belleisle

Hazel E. Belleisle of 3292 R16 North, formerly of 918 Griffin St. and Aspen Towers, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the Pines Health & Rehab Center. Mrs. Belleisle was born on January 28, 1923 in Perrysburg, PA and was the daughter of David Glenn and Grace Emma Shaffer Thompson. On September 26, 1952 in Olean she married her husband of 54 years, Douglas E. Belleisle, who predeceased her. Mrs. Belleisle has worked for Fanny Farmer's, A&P, Loblaw's and the Olean Fruit & Vegetable Mart. She also sold Avon for many years. Mrs. Belleisle enjoyed Playing Bingo, Cooking, Making Candy and doing crafts. She was a formerly a member of the Elks, Moose, Eagles and St. Stevens Clubs. Mrs. Belleisle is survived by three sons, David D. Belleisle of Franklinville, Richard C. "Dick" (Priscilla) Boser of Olean, and Ron F. (Louise) Boser of Portville, NY; two daughters, Diane M. Belleisle of Olean, and Denise A. Auman of Olean; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Harriett Drozel of Olean; and a dear daughter in law, Shirley Belleisle of Olean. Mrs. Belleisle is predeceasing by eleven sisters. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, July 8, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean, where funeral services will be held on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. The Rev. Jody L. Babb, her Grandson and Pastor of the Living Waters Church will officiate. The burial will be held in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Memorials may be made out to the Living Waters Church, 3036 West State St. Olean, N.Y. 14760.
