Jason M. Snyder of Olean, passed away Thursday June 20, 2013 at home. Jason was born March 29, 1973 in Olean and was a son of Christine Snyder and Wayne J. "Buzz" Buchanan. He was formerly married to Amy S. Burlingame. Jason attended school at the Olean School System. He worked for Olean Wholesale for past 13 years. Jason enjoyed fishing and traveling. He was an avid fan of the Michigan State Wolverines College football and basketball and Oakland Raiders. Jason was a very dedicated father to his son Marcus, who was his pride and joy. Jason is survived by one son, Marcus J. Snyder of Olean; five siblings, Polly A. (Thomas) Stimlinger of Olean, Anne M. (Chris) Magro of Denver, NC, Dave L. (Lisa) Springstead, Amy L. Buchanon of Olean, and Phil S. Springstead; and his father, Wayne J. "Buzz" Buchanon. Jason was predeceased by his mother, Christine Ballard on Nov. 14, 2012; and his stepfather, John Ballard on Dec. 5, 2002. Friends will be received Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at which time a Memorial Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made payable to Marcus's Mother - Amy S. Reynolds at 225 North 13th Street, Olean, to be placed in a trust fund for Marcus.
