Frank W. Parker of 630 East State Street Passed away Wed. February 13, 2013 in the Olean General Hospital Following a lengthy illness. Frank was born December 25, 1942 in Buffalo and was the son of Francis W. Bauer and Thelma Parker. On June 23, 1995, in Olean, he married his wife of 17 years, Elizabeth Comstock, who survives. Frank was very proud of his military service to his country. He enjoyed spending time with his family and motoring around town on his scooter visiting his friends. Along with his loving wife, Frank is survived by one son, Francis W. Parker of Buffalo; two stepsons, Scott (Corky) Murphy of Arcade, and Lester Dowd of Wellsville; three step daughters, Laura Bentley of North Collins, Robin Dowd of Olean, and Stephanie (Aaron) Murphy of Cuba; one brother, Charles (Betty) Bauer of Lancaster; and three sisters, Barbara Alaimo of Allegany, Karen (John) Stanton of Buffalo, and Pamela Bauer of Buffalo. He is predeceased by his son Michael Parker and stepson Thomas K. Murphy on Oct. 2, 2011. Friends will be received Monday Feb. 18, 2013, at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State St. Olean, from 12PM to 2PM at which time Funeral and Committal services will be held. The Rev Gregory J. Dobson will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. View Cemetery Veterans Field of Honor.
