Jennifer G. Napolentano of 1720 Seneca Ave, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 shortly after arrival at the Olean General Hospital, following a brief illness.
Jennifer was born June 29, 1952 in Cuba and was a daughter of Robert and Catherine Lutes Giboo. On Aug. 16, 1976, in Rice Town, NJ, she married her husband of 37 years, Douglas C. Napolentano, who survives.
Jennifer graduated from Rushford High School in 1970. She served as a clerk in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict from Aug. 14, 1972 to Feb. 27, 1975. Jennifer worked for Imperial Adjustment Bureau and Cutco/Vector for about 17 years each. She was an avid bowler and NASCAR fan. Jennifer loved to watch Dale Earnhardt, Sr., but most of all she loved life and was extremely devoted to her family, especially her husband and her dogs. Her dog Susie was her life.
Along with her loving husband, Jennifer is survived by seven siblings, Daniel (Carol) Giboo of Rushford, Elaine (Jerry) Warrick of Murfreesboro, TN, Robert (Cindy) Giboo of Machias, Joanne Moyer of Portville, Ernest (Johnette) Giboo of Rushford, Donna (Ed) Stanley of Kendallville, IN, and Scott (Krista) Giboo of Farmersville; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Family will be received on Thursday, Sep. 26, 2013 at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street Olean, New York 14760 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at which time a Funeral Service will be held. The Rev. Clara E. Wilder, Pastor of the River Edge Church United Methodist Church in Portville, will officiate.
