Obituary of Sherry M. Milks

Sherry M. Milks, of 3220 Pennsylvania Rd, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at her mother's home at 3606 Fay Hollow Rd. surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer. Sherry was born on November 2, 1959 in Olean and was the daughter of John E. and Norma J. Post, Milks. She was formerly married to Art Boula. Sherry attened Hinsdale Central High School. On two different occasions she owned and operated Silver Bird Taxi in Olean the last time until about 2008. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, animals and spending time with family and especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is survived by one son, Matthew J. Milks of Olean; one stepson, Steven Cosco of Rome NY; four grandchildren, Jordan, Noah, Zachery and Joshua Milks; three brothers, John Craig Milks, and Clark Milks and Terry (Laura) Milks both of Hinsdale; and one sister, Brenda Winblood of Hinsdale. Sherry was predeceased by a grandson Matthew S. Milks in 2006; and a stepson Shawn Boula in 1989. Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean on Friday March 1, 2013 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at which time funeral and committal services will be held. The Rev. Terry L. Jenks, Pastor of the Hinsdale Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean. In lieu of flowers she family wishes memorials may be made in care of her son Matthew J. Milks at 3220 Pennsylvania Road Olean, NY 14760, to help off with expenses.
