Obituary of Dorothy J. Holly

Dorothy J. Holly 5741 Lyons Road, passed away Sunday May 5, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer. Dorothy was born Sep. 16, 1952 in Olean and was a daughter of George and Alta Clark Farr. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, four wheeling, and video games with her grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by one son, John B. (Diane) Holly, Jr. of Friendship; two daughters, Tanya J. (Chuck) Bolon of Ceres, and Marsha J. (Chris Clayson) Holly of Belmont; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Jared, Myranda, Dustin, Chucky, Duane, and Jordan; one great granddaughter, Alexis; five brothers, Ernie Farr, Tom (Ada) Farr, Jerry (Gladys) Farr, Gene Farr, and Sonny (Cathy) Farr; three sisters, Josephine (Leroy) Knowlton, Marion (Woody) Braley, and Evelyn (Bill) Paddock; many, many nieces & nephews; and best friend for over 20 years, Bobbie Youmans, with whom she lived. Dorothy was predeceased by four brothers, George Farr, Buzz Farr, Herman Farr, and Lawrence Farr; and one sister, Marie Morris. There will be no public visitation. A Private Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean.
