Obituary of Glenn E. Hollamby

Glenn E. Hollamby of 2009 Wayman Branch Road, Olean, passed away Monday, Dec. 8, 2008 due to a brief illness.
Mr. Hollamby was born Dec. 15, 1934 in Olean and was a son of the late Glenn J. & Eleanor Long Hollamby, Sr. He was formerly married to Martha Weatherly. On Feb. 22, 1992 he married his wife Linda Wagner, who survives.
Mr. Hollamby worked as a produce receiver for Olean Wholesale for 23 years retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Olean Rod & Gun Club and the NRA. Mr. Hollamby was also a long time member of the Olean Eagles Club. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting.
Surviving Mr. Hollamby besides his wife are five sons, Glenn, Dave, Dennis, Steve and Ray Hollamby; two daughters, Kathy Mooney, and Angee Hollamby; two special granddaughters, Misty Hollamby and Holly Sickels; many grandchildren; four brothers, Kenneth, Donald, Robert and Carl Hollamby; two sisters, Evelyn Foster, and Gertrude VanDyke
and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hollamby was pre-deceased by two brothers, Gerald and James Hollamby; and one sister, Mildred Gay.
Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean on Friday, Dec. 12, 2008 fro 10:00 am to 12 noon at which time funeral and committal services will be held. The Rev. Matt T. Worley, Pastor of the River Edge United Methodist Church in Portville will officiate. Burial will be in Hinsdale Cemetery, Hinsdale N.Y.
Memorials may be made to the Charity of the donor's choice.
