Sharon L. Eifert of 301 Coleman Street, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 at home. Sharon was born Oct. 3, 1953 in Lockport and she was a daughter of Charles and Stella Sturtevant Eifert. Sharon graduated from Lockport Senior High School in 1971. After moving to Olean in 1979, she worked for McKean Machinery Sales as a secretary and then as a secretary for Cattaraugus County. Sharon worked for Reid's Food Barn & Wilson Farms on First and W. State Street until 2005 when she stopped due to illness. She enjoyed reading and cooking, but she truly enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Sharon is survived by one son, Brent C. (Katherine A. Mitchell) Eifert of Clinton; very close friend, Theresa Tierson of Olean; three brothers, Joe Eifert of Cortland, Daniel Eifert of Lockport, and Charles "Butch" (Barb) Eifert of Lockport; and four sisters, Helen (Robert) Schwindler of Olean, Tina Tester of Lockport, Rena Eifert of Lockport, and Rose Sturtevant of Kissimee, FL. Friends will be received Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013 at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State St., Olean, New York from 1 pm to 2 pm, at which time a Memorial Service will be held.
