Marian A. Case, 81 of 908 North Main Street Limestone passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at The Pines Health & Rehab in Olean following an illness.
Marian was born on July 31, 1931 in Bradford and was a daughter of Merle C. and Dorothy M. Hale Colley. On April 3, 1951 in Bradford she married Ellsworth H. "Al" Case, who survives.
Marian was a 1949 graduate of Limestone Union Free School. She worked first for New Barry's as a salesperson and then at the Bradford Memorial Hospital as a nurse's aid. Marian was a member of of the Limestone Eastern Starr Lodge and she enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, building dall house furniture and playing the organ and the banjo.
Surviving Marian besides her loving husband of 61 years are a son, Martin E. (Deborah) Case of Allegany; a daughter, Karen D. (Alan) Milks of Salamanca; three grandchildren, Lisa M. (Tyson) Ginnery of Franklinville, Ryan P. (Disarray) Milks of Salamanca, Trevor (Liz) Milks of Great Valley; six great grandchildren; a brother,Max C. (Phyllis) Colley of Limestone; and several nieces and nephews.
Marian was pre-deceased by a sister Janet A. Sankner.
Friends will be received Thursday, Jan 24, 2013 at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean from 5 PM to 7PM at which time memorial service will be held. The Deacon Mike Bray will officiate. Online condolences may be made by clicking on button above.
