Obituary of Mary R. Blazejewski

Mary R. Blazejewski of 309 E. Elm Street passed away on Friday, March 23, 2013 in the Cuba Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit, following a short illness. Mrs. Blazejewski was born on March 10, 1915 in Mt. Jewett, Pa. and was a daughter of Louige and Maria Rosa Olivia Leone. On June 1, 1940 in St. John's Church she married John J. Blazejewski, who pre-deceased her on Feb. 6, 1990. Mrs. Blazejewski worked for Thatcher Glass Plant for 10 years, Daystrum Furniture for about 20 years and then HiQ for about 11 years retiring in 1980. She was a long time Member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church and their Alter Society. Surviving are a brother, Angelo Baglione of Olean; a sister in law, Florence Dunlap of Wallingford; and several nieces & nephews. In addition to her loving husband, John, of 50 years, Mrs. Blazejewski is pre-deceased by her parents and a stepfather Bernard Baglione; five brothers, Infant Bernard Baglione, Jr., Pascal Leone, Joseph Leone and Frank & John Baglione; and three sisters, Miss Louise Leone, Katherine Kloc and Mariea Baglione. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held today, Monday, March 25, 2013 at 1:00 pm in St. John's Church. The Rev. Edward Sheedy, Pastor, was celebrant. Burial will was in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John's Church 931 North Union Street, Olean, NY 14760.
