Obituary of Jane Elizabeth Bailey

Jane Elizabeth Bailey of 111 N. Main St., and of The Pines Health and Rehab Center, passed away Friday, October 25, 2013 at Olean General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, following a long illness. Jane was born April 15, 1964 in Olean, the daughter of Ora Eugene and Hazel Elizabeth (Lynn) Willard. On April 29, 1989 she married John T. Bailey at the First Baptist Church of Olean. Jane enjoyed caring for her family, making their house a home and truly loved her grandchildren who she enjoyed spending time with. She also enjoyed doing crafts. Surviving Jane besides her husband are her mother, Hazel Willard of Olean; a son, Lyle D. (Donielle) Champlin, Jr. of Bolivar; a daughter, Lisa J. (David) Phearsdorf of Olean; two granddaughters and five grandsons; four brothers, Melvin (Susan) Willard of Olean, Kevin Willard of Friendship, Timothy Willard of Wellsville, and Jonathon Tracy) Willard of Lakeland, Fla.; four sisters, Marilyn Jackson of Bolivar, Janice Cansdale of Hinsdale, Jacqueline (Wayne) Murphy of Parish, and Mary (Lawrence) Ryan of Olean; and several nieces and nephews. The friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, 646 E. State St., Olean on Wednesday, October 30, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, at which time a Funeral Service will be held.
