Obituary of Patricia E. Witherell

Patricia E. Witherell of 18 Stevens Ave passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 at home surrounded by her loving family. Ms. Witherell was born April 29, 1945 in Detroit MI. and was a daughter of William E. and Clara Phelps Shelley. Ms. Witherell was a graduate of the Olean Business Inst. and worked as a dental assistant in the Olean area for a number of years. She was a member of the committee that established Allegany River Walk Trail in Olean, former board member of the Olean YMCA. She also enjoyed aerobics, gardening, traveling, but most of all she truly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and especially her granddaughters. Surviving Ms. Witherell are two sons, Thomas F. Witherell, II of Cuba, and William D. (Carin) Witherell of Cuba Lake; two granddaughters, Tomie Michelle Witherell and Allie Marie Witherell; a brother, William D. (Kay) Shelley of California; a nephew and two nieces. There will be a Celebration of her life gathering on Saturday, March 28, 2009 from 3-5 P.M. in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #24 Genesee Pkwy Cuba, concluding with a sharing of her life at 4:30 PM. in the funeral home.
