Beverly A. Henry formerly of 217 N. 14th. Olean passed away Friday, June 27, 2008 in the Schofield Residential Nursing Home in Tonawanda following a two & half year courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. Henry was born on Oct. 4, 1940 in Olean and was a daughter of Gerald J & Anna Skrobaccz Keller On Dec. 3, 1966 in St. John's Church she married Richard P. Henry, who pre-deceased her on Dec. 24, 2002. Mrs. Henry was a 1958 graduate of Olean High School. She worked first at the St. Francis Hospital and then Olean General Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 2002. Mrs. Henry then received her real-estate license and worked at Pepper & Crandall until her illness in 2006. Mrs. Henry was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Church. She was very active and supportive of both her sons and enjoyed being a big part of their lives. Mrs. Henry also belonged to the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed dancing, going to the beach with her sister and just being with her family. Surviving Mrs. Henry are two sons, Michael J. (Mark Jones) Henry of Buffalo and Terrence J. Henry of Buffalo; a brother, Joseph G. (Peggy) Keller of Olean; a sister, Jean Bailey of Olean; a niece and three nephews. Friends will be received on Sunday, June 29, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Begining with a prayer service in the Funeral Home followed by a 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Angels Church. The Rev. Gregory J. Dobson, Pastor, will celebrate. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany, N.Y. Memorials may be made to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute to the St. Mary of the Angels Church 202 South Union Street, Olean, N.Y.
