Donald J. Murray of McDuffy Road, formerly of Whitehouse Cross Road Hinsdale, passed away on Tuesday October 20, 2009 in Olean General Hospital of an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Murray was born on May 31, 1959 in Brockport and was the son of Junior F. and Alice M. Martin Murray. He was formerly married to Mary Jo Wilson.
Mr. Murray worked as an auto body repair man in a number of collion shops. He owned and operated his own "Murray Collion" for a number of years on Whitehouse cross road until 2004. Mr. Murray enjoyed working on cars and camping.
Surviving Mr. Murray besides his mother, Alice M. Murray of Olean are three daughters, Jamie L. Murray, Ashley L. Murray, and Racheal A. Murray all of Cuba; one son, Shawn Cole; four brothers, Robert J. Murray of Powder Springs, GA, Lawrence D. Murray of St. Petersburg, FL, Timothy J. Murray, and Douglas G. Murray of Olean; and three granddaughters.
Mr. Murray was predeceased by his father, Junior F. Murray on Dec. 17, 1970; and three brothers, Glen A., Dale R. and Terry Lee Murray.
At the request of his family there will be no public visitation or funeral services at this time.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean.
