Obituary of Jean E. Kuhn

Jean E. Kuhn formerly of 39 Medbury Avenue passed away Tuesday February 10, 2009 at the Cuba Skilled Nursing Facility. Ms. Kuhn was born on November 16, 1921 in Cuba, NY to Lawrence J. and Cecil Short Easton. Ms. Kuhn was a graduate of Cuba High School and the New York State Teachers College of Fredonia. She received her Masters Degree in Education from St. Bonaventure University . Ms.Kuhn retired from Acme Electric were she worked for a number of Years as a Buyer in the Purchasing Department. She was known as a lover of animals, especially her cats. She enjoyed dancing & music. She was involved with the production of the Cuba Memorial Hospital Showtime for a number of years. Surviving Ms. Kuhn are several cousins and many dear friends. There will be no public visitation or funeral. Burial will be at the convince of the family. Memorials made be made to Cuba Circulating Library 39 East Main Street Cuba, NY 14727 and the Allegany County SPCA. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #24 Genesee Pkwy, Cuba.
