Obituary of Roger L. Frederick

Mr. Roger L. Frederick of 7930 Route 16 North Lot #23 Franklinville, formerly of Olean, passed away on Wed. March 11, 2009 shortly after arrival at the Erie County Medical Center. Born November 21, 1946 in Olean, he was the Son of the late William S. Frederick and Judy Walega (Shoup). Mr. Frederick was 1966 graduate of Allegany Central School. He worked for MaGraw Edison (Cooper), St. Joseph's Manor. Later he worked at Professional Landscaping of Ellicottville, where he retired from. Mr. Frederick was a member of the IOOB of Franklinville. Mr. Frederick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed camping at the Hanging Bog and Allegany State Park. He also enjoyed playing catch with his children and fishing. Surviving Mr. Frederick are three daughters, Brenda (Michael) Smith of Rockford, IL., Keri Mueller of Rockford, IL., and Jennifer L. Frederick of Delevan; 9 grandchildren, Joshua, Megan, Amber, Taylor, Austin, Jacalyn, Raelee, Kaylum and Aleshia; a sister, Gloria (Chuck) Lute of Allegany, and several nieces & nephews. Mr. Frederick was pre-deceased by his father and a young son Kevin Michael Frederick on June 18, 1981. The Rev. Richard S. Husted, Pastor of St. Bonaventure Church will officiate a Prayer Service at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 14, 2009 in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean. After which friends will gather until 11:00 A.M. at which time they will go to St. Bonaventure Cemetery for graveside committal and burial. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
