Obituary of Robert T. Stankowicz

Robert T. Stankowicz, of 114 1/2 West Greet Street, formerly of Old Bridge, NJ passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at his home. Robert was born on Nov. 16, 1962 in New Brunswick, NJ and was a son of Robert Thomas and Barbara Goddard Stankowitz. Robert lived in New Jersey for most of his life before moving to Silver Creek, Dunkirk and then Olean. His passion was music. Robert sang, played the guitar, and wrote music. He loved the band Kiss, karaoke, and making people laugh. Robert was an avid sports memorabilia and coin collector. Robert is survived by three children, Samantha M. Stankowitz of Dunkirk, Amanda A. Stankowitz of New Jersey, and Bobby Stankowitz of New Jersey; two brothers, Anthony & Jay; three sisters, Sandy, Tina, and Jessica; and many nieces and nephews including Angie, Selena, Anthony, & Joey that he loved very much. At the request of the family, there will be no Public Visitation or Funeral Service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E. State Street, Olean.
