Leroy G. Lovell of 132 N. Union Street, At. 416, passed away on Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 shortly after arrival at the Olean General Hospital. Leroy was born Oct. 8, 1943 in Warsaw and was a son of Edward Leroy and Ethel Verona Rice Lovell. On Dec. 18, 2009 in Olean he married his loving wife, Victoria L. Laluk, who survives. Leroy was a farmer for many years for Clayton Burr in West Clarksville. He was an avid wrestling fan and enjoyed watching WWE. Leroy also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and doing crafts with his wife. He will be remembered as a very funny man who enjoyed making his family, especially his wife, laugh. Leroy loved his Pug "Harley." Along with his loving wife, Leroy is survived by six stepchildren; four siblings, Judy (Francis) Dimpfl of Bolivar, Herbert Lovell of Scio, Jack (Linda) Lovell of Olean, and Francis Lovell of Little Valley; a brother-in-Law, Thomas A. Laluk of Hungtinton Beach, CA; and several nieces & nephews. Leroy was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Lovell. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday Feb. 23, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Olean First Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E.
