Olean- Veronica Louise Martin “Loving Mother, Mimi & Sister”
Veronica L. Martin of 1240 Brook St. passed away with her daughters by her side on February 28, 2023, at the Olean General Hospital following an illness.
Veronica was born on April 18, 1955, in Olean and was the daughter of Andrew Thomas and Francis McClure Martin.
Veronica loved her family; her grandchildren were everything to her and she meant everything to them. She loved family gatherings, making jewelry, reading, and swimming in the pool all summer but most of all she loved her schnauzer “Rocky”.
Veronica is survived by; 4 children, Christopher Skinner and Brent (Bridget) Skinner both of Florida, Katherine (Christopher) Kenyon of Olean and Stephanie (Joshua) Keim of Allegany; 9 grandchildren, Tatum, Nathan, Aaron, Cayden, Collin, Chase, Morgan, Malerie and Maddox; 3 siblings, Becky Long, Christine “Chris” Gardiner whom she referred to as “Bestie” and George “Bootsie” Martin and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Veronica was predeceased by; her parents; 4 siblings, Thomas, Michael, Betsy and Rosemary.
Friends will received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at which time a memorial service will be held. The Rev. Jerry Piper will officiate. Online condolences may be made at www.letromcintoshspinkfuneralhome.com
