Olean- Rita Marie Barnett “Loving Sister, Mother, and Grandmother”
Rita M. Barnett of Buffalo Street passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023.
Rita was born on January 22, 1964, in Cortland and was the daughter of Harold L. and Marlene N. Monohan Ryan.
Rita graduated from Cortland High School. She enjoyed fishing and being with her cats and hamsters.
Rita is survived by her children; Brittany Reeves, Holly-Ann (Alex) Barnett-Johnson, Courtney Anderson, grandchildren; Trynity, Chase, and Caden, sisters; Mary Fuller of Olean, Jaki Ryan of Homer, and Maureen Ryan of Cortland, an uncle Burton Ryan of Cortland, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Rita was predeceased by her parents and two uncles: Fredrick and Dwight Ryan.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Cortland Rural Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean Online condolences may be made at www.letromcintoshspinkfuneralhome.com
