Allegany- Alan H. Clark “Loving Family Man”
Alan H. Clark of 3757 Karl Road, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at the Olean General Hospital.
Alan was born on February 4, 1942 in Olean and was the son of Jared Henry and Marie Elizabeth Bean Clark. On August 5, 1962 in Allegany he married Connie G. Hafer, who survives.
Alan worked for the Cattaraugus County Highway department as a truck driver for a number of years. Then he began working at Ceres Township PA for about 6 years as a truck driver. He retired after 30 years in the mid 1990’s.
Alan loved hunting, going to coffee at Tim Hortons, going to the local American Legions, going on vacation especially cruises, camping and boating but mostly spending time with his family snowmobiling and gardening vegetables.
Alan is survived by; 2 children, Kristine A. (Ronald) Deibler of Eldred, PA and Brenda L. (Carl) Deibler of Hinsdale; 5 grandchildren, James, Lacee, Stephanie, Tiffany and Courtney; 8 great grandchildren; 3 siblings, Joyce Larrabee and Willis Clark both of Olean and Donald Clark of Allegany and many nieces and nephews.
Alan was predeceased by; his parents; a daughter, Destinie Lyn Feneran, 4 siblings, Jared Clark, William “Bill” Clark, Marion Ratzel and Gloria “Ann” Riordan.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 3:00pm at the Portville American Legion, 24 S Main St. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E.
