Olean- Paul R. Geise Paul R. Geise of 1721 Goodrich Ave passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at home following an illness. Paul was born on September 8, 1951, in Olean and was the son of Charles E. and Theresa M. Herbert Geise. On September 4, 1976, in Olean he married his loving wife, Jamie R. Lowe, who survives. Paul graduated from Olean High School in 1969 and attended Erie Community College, Buffalo State, and RIT where he received a Bachelors of Technology in 1985. Paul served in the US Army from 1971 to 1973 and was on active reserve until 1977. Paul started working at Dresser Clark as a draftsman in 1974 and 1976 he became an engineer and continued to work for them for 39 years until his retirement in 2013. Paul was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing, collecting coins, and working on computers, which he taught himself how to do. He also loved to pitch horseshoes, garden and most of all spend time with his family and grandchildren. Beside his loving wife, Jamie, Paul is survived by his three children; Aaron C. (Bridgette Zawatski) Geise of Olean, Summer J. (Vernon) Gayton of Olean, Caitlin A. (Jason) Davenport, eight grandchildren; Loralei Kenyon, Lincoln Gayton, Miesha Brown, Evander Gayton, Madison, Aubrey, Bentley, and Blake Davenport, and a brother, John Geise. Paul was predeceased by his parents. Friends will be received on Wednesday February 8, 2023 from 5:00-8:00pm at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
