When someone as special as George leaves our world, we all know the influence he had on each of us will live on through us and thus, so shall he. Marcia and George opened their home to many throughout the years and I was one who was blessed by their friendship ,love and generosity.
My sincere condolences go out to family and friends. Many hugs and prayers go your way.

May the cheer and happiness that only Santa can bring be in your hearts and memories. He was a force in so many ways, but always had time to talk to students, teachers and so many in our community. May his memory be a blessing.

It’s hard to pick “a memory” with my Uncle George…. There’s so many great stories! I vividly recall that Aunt Marcia instructed us to wake him up one time by throwing a cup of water on him… I think Dawnie tossed it; I was petrified I couldn’t run away fast enough! We all lived through it and Uncle George DID get up! My love to all my Pancio family.

Uncle Bud was the kind of uncle you read about in books. I never ever saw him without getting to enjoy his jovial laughter and his hug that smelled of sweet tobacco pipe. Even though I live far away and none of my friends have ever met him, many have heard the tales of how my uncle was the one responsible for me wanting to give my kids the joy of believing in Santa Claus. I’ve told of how he’d show up to our door on Christmas eve with the most gorgeous silky red Santa suit, deep ringing jingle bells, and pixie dust to put us to sleep so we wouldn’t be awake when he would come that night. My sister and I would lie in bed, struggling to stay awake because the pixie dust was “too powerful.” I remember anxiously waiting for him to check his looong nice/naughty list and how special I felt when he'd show me my name. Nowadays, when anyone asks why I still believe in Santa, I tell them it’s because I’ve MET Santa.
You’ll be missed, Uncle Bud. Thank you for the love and magic you always gave to all around you.
