Obituary of Anita M. Bish

Allegany- Anita M. Bish “No Caption” Anita M. Bish of 3974 Route 417, Lot 113 passed away on Friday, Nov. 25, 2022 at her home. Anita was born on May 11, 1963 in Olean and was a daughter of Barbara Ann Alsworth. She was raised by her mother and stepfather Charles Drew. On Dec. 16, 1986 she married her husband Dale Bish who predeceased her on Nov. 1, 2009. Anita attended Galileo High School in San Francisco CA. She spent her childhood in California and Germany with her father being in the Army. Anita came back to the Olean area in her 20’s settling in Allegany. She was a driver for Trans Am Ambulance. Anita loved garage sales, local bands but most of all she loved her cats which she called “her kids”. Anita is survived by; her stepfather, Charles Drew; 4 siblings, Dave A. (Cathy Jentsch) Drew of Buffalo, Scott C. Drew of East Moss, AZ, Teresa M. (Roy) Curry of Booneville, MS and Christopher P. Drew of NC; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and her close friend Robin Stephen of Hinsdale. Anita was predeceased by her mother Barbara Ann Drew on January 1, 2010. A private burial was held in the Allegany Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean.
