Obituary of Wiley J. Minges

Olean- Wiley James Minges “loving Family Man” Wiley J. Minges, 42 of 1231 Seneca Avenue passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, peacefully at his home. Wiley was born on May 4, 1980, in Friendship and was the son of Robert G. and Susan Mills Minges. On August 25, 2016, at the Bear Creek Lodge in Franklinville he married Angel Lee Isaac. Wiley was a 1998 graduate of Ithaca High School. He was a automobile salesman at Rick Bokman's for 10 years and more recently for West Herr Chevrolet in Orchard Park. Wiley was an avid skier and his first job was a ski instructor at Park City Ski Resort in Utah. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed camping, boating and golfing. Wiley loved his family and worked hard to provide them a happy and safe home. He was a very outgoing man with a magnetic personality who touched many many people’s lives and also will be honored with high regards by his wife and daughter for the wonderful man he was. Surviving besides his loving wife, Angel Lee Minges and their daughter Madison Renae Minges, his mother, Susi Mills of Cecilia, LA; 2 brothers, Wayne Z. (Wendy) Minges of Cuba and Jesse S. (Danielle) Minges of Olean; 6 nieces and nephews, Kali, Macy, Kailyn, Hannah, Tavien, and Latrell. Wiley was predeceased by his father Robert G. Minges in 2004. At this time there will be no public services. A celebration of life will be held at a date and time to be announced. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home.
