Olean- Sally Ann Gooley “Loving Wife, Mother & Sister” Sally Ann Gooley of 320 South 4th Street passed away on Friday October 21, 2022, at Olean General Hospital following a lengthy illness Sally was born on September 29, 1950, in North Tonawanda and was the daughter of William T. Covert and Dorothy L. Harris. On October 12, 1983, she married her loving husband, Ronald Allen Gooley, who survives. Sally graduated in 1968 from Forestville High School. She moved to Olean to attend the Continental School of Beauty. Sally lived in several different states including Arizona and Indiana before moving back to the Olean area in 1997. She worked in the kitchen at the St. Elizabeth Motherhouse as well as St. Bonaventure University before becoming disabled. Sally was a diehard Buffalo Bills fan; she also enjoyed playing computer games and talking on the phone. Sally is survived by her loving husband, a son, Justin E. Gooley of Sodas, NY, two sisters, Sandra L. Milgate of Cuba and Judy L. (Anthony) Dipaola of Flowery Branch, GA, two nephews, 1 niece, and many great nieces and nephews. Sally was predeceased by her parents, a son, Ronald William Gooley in a trailer fire on February 12, 2001, and a brother, William T. Covert Jr. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean.
