Olean- Sandra A. Schultz
Sandra A. Schultz of 2356 Johnson Road passed away early Wednesday morning, October 19, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
Sandra was born on December 13, 1943, in Olean and was the daughter of Norman and Gladys Heilman Boser. On June 6, 1964, she married her loving husband of 58 years Michael J. Schultz, who survives.
Sandra served as the Olean First Baptist Church Secretary for 22 years. She was a devoted mother and wife to her family. Sandra loved painting, sewing, quilting, cooking, birds, cats, short traveling and gardening. Sandra was a volunteer at the Olean General Hospital making blankets for patients. She was also a member of the prayer shawl ministry and the Lynas project. She was an active member of the Olean First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and a member of the Red Hat Society. Sandra shall be remembered as compassionate, strong, loving and a caring woman touching the lives of all who knew her.
Sandra is survived by her husband and 2 daughters, Heather (Benjamin) Piche and Michele (Arthur) Goudie, grandchildren, Alan and Emily Schultz-Cone, Connor Goudie, a very special niece Barbara (Lord) Baker, and nephew Mark Lord.
Sandra was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Elleen (Boser) Lord and her husband Richard Lord, a brother, Donald Boser, a niece Amy Lynn Lord, great nephew, Matthew Lord, nephew in law Garry Baker, and a niece in law, Connie Lord among many other family members and special friends.
Friends will be received for a Memorial Service at 11:00am on Saturday November 12, 2022 at the Olean First Baptist Church 133 South Union Street. Rev. Millard C. Cook will officiate.
