Cuba - Graham A. Hughes “Sadly Missed”
Graham A. Hughes of Cuba passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Cuba Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility following an illness.
Graham was born on September 28, 1942, in Little Hulton, Manchester, England and was the son of Stanley and Jessie Piper Hughes. On October 8, 1977, at Bethany Lutheran Church he married his loving wife of 45 years Suzanne M. Stringer who survives.
Graham came to Toronto, Canada at the age of four and then moved to Andover, Massachusetts. Graham was a graduate of University of Massachusetts Lowell where he received a Doctorate Degree in Engineering. Graham worked for Dresser Rand and Haliburton for over 40 years.
Graham enjoyed traveling many places, gardening, bird watching, walking in the woods with wife and dogs. He formerly enjoyed playing gold when he could.
Graham was predeceased by a brother, Ian Hughes.
