Allegany - David E. “Bud” Swatt “No Caption”
David E. “Bud” Swatt of 122 N. 1st Street, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at the Bradford Regional Hospital following an illness.
Bud was born on August 13, 1940 in Olean and was the son of Stephan Michael and Eva May Ripley Swatt. On December 24, 1975 in Indianapolis, Indiana he married his wife of 46 years Gayle M. Anderson who survives.
Bud attended Olean High School before serving in the US Navy. He worked as an over the road truck driver for 40 over years retiring in 2002 and logging over a million miles.
Bud really enjoyed wood working and riding his green lawnmower.
Along with his loving wife, Gayle, Bud is survived by; 2 daughters, Leigh D. VanDeWalker of Hinsdale and Stephanie E. (Eric) Dillon of State College, PA; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
As per Bud’s request there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean. Online condolences may be made at www.letromcintoshspinkfuneralhome.com
