Olean- Carol J. Fisher "Loving Sister & Aunt" Carol J. Fisher of 100 Austin Court and most recently of the Pines of Olean passed away on May 12, 2022, at Olean General Hospital following an illness. Carol was born on March 5, 1930, in Jamestown and was the daughter of Oscar J. Charles and Eva B. Baker. In 1951 she married William J. “Bill” Fisher who predeceased her in 1986. Carol worked at a number of places including the “Golden Age Nursing Home” in Olean where she retired from in 1990. Carol was a member of the Hinsdale Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed going to church and seeing her friends. Carol is survived by her five siblings, Roger (Bonnie) Charles and Robert Charles both of Jamestown, Carolyn Barlett of Frewsburg, Clydell Barlett of Olean and Donna Olson of Hartford, Wisconsin. Carol was predeceased by her husband William and her parents. Services will be held at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean on Sunday May 15, 2022, 1:00-3:00pm with a service to follow with Elder Lee Weinert officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery in Jamestown.
