Eldred- Jesse E. Cliff “Loving Family Man”
Jesse E. Cliff of 1388 Barden Brook Road passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022 at the Olean General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Jesse was born March 1, 1959 in San Antonio, Texas and was the son of Raymond E. and Norma J. Nobles Cliff. On January 20, 1996 in Olean he married his loving wife of 26 years Rebecca J. Benson who survives.
Jesse served in the US Navy from 1976 to 1980. He drove truck for Taylor Concrete in Jacksonville, Florida for a number of years before moving back from Florida in 1993. Jesse also worked on the family farm.
Jesse was a member of the Eldred VFW Post 2092. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Along with his loving wife Rebecca, Jesse is survived by; his mother Norma J. Anderson of Kane, PA; 3 children, Geoffrey D. N. Cliff of Corinth, KY, Sarah M. (Josh) Oakes of Rixford and Levi E. Cliff of Eldred; 3 grandchildren, Kevin Lee Cliff, Vincent Oakes and Nikolai Cliff; 3 siblings, Mark (Pattie) Albaney of Olean, NY, Valerie (Jeff) Thompson of Duke Center and Martin G. Armour of Kane.
Jesse is predeceased by; 2 step fathers, Dean Armour and Clyde Anderson and second wife Janet Williams Cliff who predeceased him in 1991.
A grave side service will be held on April 26, 2022 at 5:00PM at the family cemetery on the farm “Benson, Brenton & Vincent Memorial Cemetery” on Barden Brook Road.
