Olean- Douglas J. “D.J.” Belleisle Douglas J. “D.J.” Belleisle of 513 N 6th Street passed away on Sunday March 27, 2022. D.J. was born on February 6, 1975, in Olean and was the son of David and Shirley Dziewiesz Belleisle. D.J. was a 1993 graduate of Olean High School afterwards he worked as a painter for a number of years before becoming disabled. D.J. enjoyed hunting, playing darts, pool, helping work at the Plant and his dog, “Eli”. D.J.’s family was the most important thing to him. D.J. is survived by his mother Shirley D. Belleisle and his father David D. Belleisle both of Olean, loving girlfriend Amy Yaudes of Olean, a sister, April M. (Steven) Douhit of Allegany, a brother, Roy A. (Casey) Belleisle, six nieces and nephews, Katie, Mandi, and Derek Douthit, Keegan, Kayden and Kinley Belleisle, five great nieces and nephews, Collin, Camden, and Carleigh Zerniak, Bryson and Blakely Belleisle, and special uncle, Stephen Dziewiesz. D.J. was predeceased by one brother, Michael T. Belleisle on December 24, 2020. A memorial gathering for both D.J and his brother Mike who passed away during COVID will be held on Thursday March 31st, 2022, from 3:00-5:00pm at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E.
