Obituary of Patricia Ann McMillen

Olean – Patricia Ann McMillen “Loving Mother, Grandmother, & Sister” Patricia Ann McMillen of 132 N Union St Apt 318 passed away on Monday December 6th, 2021. Pat was born in Olean on June 20th,1949 and was the daughter if Orville B. and Julia C. VanRode Straight. She was formerly married to George A McMillen, who predeceased her. Pat was a 1967 graduate of Olean High School. After graduating she worked at several places including Olean Housing Authority, the Tile Plant, Olean Advanced Products/AVX, and most recently a janitor at the Rehab Center Sub Con in Olean where she retired in 2018. Pat enjoyed helping people when she could by babysitting children and watching pets. She also liked to clean and cook. When she was younger and able to, she enjoyed hunting. Pat also had a great sense of humor. Pat is survived by 2 sons, Marion C. McMillen, and George A. (Heidi) McMillen Jr. both of Hinsdale, 4 grandchildren, Tressea, Allissa, Zackary, and Aurora, 2 brothers, Ed (Julie) Straight of Lakeville Minnesota and William Carpenter of Bolivar, 4 great grandchildren, a nephew, Wesley, a niece, Michelle, many friends, and neighbors. Pat was predeceased by her parents. Friends will be received on Wednesday December 15th, 2021 from 2-4pm at Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E State St., Olean at which time a funeral service will be held, the Reverend Douglas Travis, Pastor of Harvest Field Outreach center will officiate.
