To the Attard family: Renato, Claudia & Joe, Anita & John, Al & Lisa and all the generations of children. We share in your grief at this time. No words can express our feelings. We celebrate Jackie's life and all her contributions to our community. She and Renato were part of the fabric of Union Street especially with "Attard"s" restaurant where we enjoyed so many great meals. Serving delicious meals in a warm and cozy atmosphere was what they did best. I felt as if I was dinning in their home because that is how they made you feel. All of the great generations of children (you all) are how they also left their mark in this world. You are all fruit from their tree. We will always remember Jackie, especially every time we walk or drive on North Union (which is almost every day) past the old Attard's location. Jim & Paula Bardenett

We were very sorry to hear of Jackie's passing. She was a kind and beautiful lady. We remember getting wonderful fish fries at Attard's and the best baklava in the world. Jackie had a very welcoming personality that put one at ease instantly when walking into Attard's. After working with Claudia for many years at Pizza Hut, I can see where she got her kindhearted personality from as well. May happy memories of Jackie help to heal your hearts. ---Mary and Jim Rhode

Jackie provided countless memories of her kindness and generosity. Her hospitality in action was a
miracle to behold. It wasn’t just her gift in creating wonderful cuisine. It was her spirit of sharing it with the ones
who were lucky enough to call her friend. Humility was part of her wisdom in living ,but in her giving of self ,came
an example of Christlike companionship. If I knew when I might experience my “Last Supper “ ,I would hope that Jackie had been in the kitchen ,but more so , sitting next to me, at table.
To the faithful family,.......thank you for being such wonderful people in her life. You provided her happiness and joy.
Peace Be With You. That is what God and Jackie grant to you.
Lovingly, Joanne Sperling

Jackie was a bright light and an angel on earth. I knew Jackie and Renato when they had their first store on Union St in 1975. Their store was a warm and friendly place to go for many of us in the neighborhood. Renato would tease my 1 1/2 old and Jackie would tell him to stop and then she would give her a piece of candy which she loved! Jackie introduced me to her Lebanese dishes and would often "give" me a meal which I truly appreciated as a young, single mom. She was an angel to many and just a warm and sweet soul. You will be missed Jackie and I send my condolences to her family. Rest in peace Jackie.

So sorry for your loss. We were so fortunate to have had the privilege of knowing Jackie. She was a lovely lady. We loved going to Attard’s, it was our favorite place to eat. We were always so happy to see Jackie, Ray and Claudia. They introduced us to so many wonderful dishes. Jackie was always so kind to our grandkids and us. She will be missed by the many she touched.
