Obituary of Carol R. Treaster

Olean – Carol R. Treaster “Loving Wife, Mother & Sister Carol R. Treaster of 324 North 9th Street , passed away on Wednesday October , 27th, 2021 in the Olean General Hospital following an illness. Carol was born Dec. 21, 1953 in Olean, NY and was the daughter of Clifford L. and Ester R. Crawford Bonhoff, Jr. On Jan. 26 1975 in the First Presbyterian Church she married Glenn I. Treaster. Carol was a graduate of Olean High School. She worked at Walmart in Allegany as a store clerk. She also worked for Hills and Ames Dept. Stores. Carol enjoyed reading the Bible, quilting and traveling. She also taught Sunday School. She was a member of Central Baptist Carol is survived by her loving husband and seven children Larry E. (Ava) Treaster, GlendaL. (Alan) Anderson, Samuel G. (Janet) Treaster, Rev. Eric H. (Valerie) Treaster, Walter F. (Michelle) Treaster, Joseph S. (Christine) Treaster and Jennifer R. Treaster, 17 Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren. One sister Dorothy C. (Dan) Lippert. She is pre deceased by a son Scott Treaster, her parents and two siblings John H. Bonhoff, Sr. Brenda L. Webster There will be a gathering at The Central Baptist Church Sunday Nov. 14, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at which time a Memorial Service will be held. The Rev. Alan Yates will officiate In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to the Central Baptist Church, 601 West State Street, Olean, NY 14760.
